After qualifying as an attorney and a patent attorney, Ms. Young-sun Kim joined LEE & MOCK IP and currently serves as a partner. Ms. Kim has developed extensive expertise across a wide range of intellectual property matters, including patent and utility model filing, responses to domestic and international Office Actions, IP trials and litigation, freedom-to-operate (FTO) and infringement analyses, patent searches and analyses, as well as patent mapping and IP strategy consulting.
In particular, leveraging Ms. Kim’s prior experience as an IT consultant and her deep understanding of the software industry, she advises on technical and legal issues relating to advanced technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Multimodal AI, AI Safety, AI Infrastructure, robotics, autonomous driving, blockchain, image processing, signal processing, business models, and general electrical and electronic technologies. She also specializes in effective patent procurement and protection strategies and formulating dispute response strategies in these fields.
